CenTex Aerospace, Inc. announces it has received FAA approval of a new AFM Supplement just for Beechcraft King Air 250s with their Halo 250 increased gross weight conversion.

Waco, Texas, – October 1, 2014 – CenTex Aerospace, Inc. announces it has received FAA approval of a new AFM Supplement just for Beechcraft King Air 250s with their Halo 250 increased gross weight conversion.  Working in association with Beechcraft and BLR Aerospace, CenTex now offers the Halo 250 conversion with AFM data that fully reflects the increased performance capability of the King Air 250.  The new data allows a King Air 250 to carry more weight under “hot and high” conditions and to operate from shorter runways.  With the Halo 250 conversion, a King Air 250 can carry an additional 920 pounds of payload and/or fuel.

Beechcraft is offering the Halo 250 conversion as a factory option on all new King Air 250s.  Installation of the conversion will be conducted at the factory.  Airplanes already in service can be converted as well.  Hawker Beechcraft Service Centers and any of the other CenTex Aerospace dealers can provide sales and installation of the conversion.
