CenTex Aerospace, Inc. announces it has completed its first shipment of Halo 250 kits to Beechcraft Corporation, a Textron Aviation Inc. company.

Waco, Texas, – November 24, 2014 – CenTex Aerospace, Inc. announces it has completed its first shipment of Halo 250 kits to Beechcraft Corporation, a Textron Aviation Inc. company.  The kits will be installed as the Enhanced Payload Option on new production Beechcraft King Air 250 aircraft at the company’s manufacturing facility in Wichita, Kansas.

After working with Beechcraft and BLR Aerospace, CenTex is now able to offer the Halo 250 conversion with AFM data that fully reflects the increased performance capability of the King Air 250.  The new data allows a King Air 250 to carry more weight under “hot and high” conditions and to operate from shorter runways.  With the Halo 250 conversion, a King Air 250 can carry an additional 920 pounds of payload and/or fuel.

The Enhanced Payload Option is also available to fielded aircraft and can be purchased and installed at Textron Aviation’s company-owned service centers or any of the other CenTex Aerospace dealers.
