Notification to Halo 350 Owners/Operators Regarding FAA AD 2026-15-05:

CenTex Aerospace has reviewed FAA AD 2026-15-05 and found that it does not apply to King Air B300 or B300C aircraft equipped with CenTex’s Halo 350 Increased Gross Weight Conversion in accordance with FAA STC no. ST09934AC.

This airworthiness directive highlights changes that Textron Aviation has made to the airworthiness limitations for King Air B300 and B300C models configured as “heavy weight” (350HW) or “extended range” (350ER or 350CER) airplanes, specifically equipped with Textron Kit no. 130-4014, 130-4030, or 130-4402.  An airplane with one of these Textron kits is not eligible for the Halo 350 Conversion.

The Halo 350 Conversion approves a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 15,950 pounds.  Although MTOW increases, the Halo 350 Conversion does not make the same structural changes nor have the same operating limitations as a 350HW, 350ER, or 350CER.  Refer to CenTex Aerospace ICA Manual no. 051-30, Halo 350 Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, for airworthiness limitations applicable to a King Air B300 or B300C with the Halo 350 Conversion.
